Sermorelin is the 1–29 bioactive fragment of endogenous human GHRH, the earliest commercial short-acting GHRH peptide. It shares highly similar structure and identical signaling pathway with CJC-1295 (without DAC), only differing slightly in half-life.

 

It selectively binds pituitary GHRH receptors to stimulate physiological pulsatile GH release, which further drives steady hepatic IGF-1 synthesis.
